A word from one of my clients...

"On 1st January 2012 the new BS7671:2008 Amendment 1:2011 electrical wiring regulations come into force. Whilst there is not a great deal of change on the whole, there are vast improvements to the electrical testing and reporting sections which accounts for a significant element to the recent amendment.

As inspection and testing is a major part of our business, we strive to ensure we were at the forefront and wanted to ensure we are testing to the new requirements ahead of time.  With the new IET model forms only recently released, we set ourselves a target of early adoption by 1st November 2011 – 2 months ahead of the regulation enforcement.

With no updated reporting software or electronic copies available on the market we knew we would be set the task of designing our own, but with a busy business there was only one way to achieve our goal – outsource the design template of this highly technical document to a virtual assistant.

We enlisted the services of Jane at Harvey Morgans, and within no time at all she understood our requirements and completed our new forms – based on the standard templates, with extra customisation of course!

We hit our own deadline and the forms are now in pre-production trial for a month until we scale up to production on 1st December 2011.  Without the help of Harvey Morgans we wouldn’t have met our targets and achieved our business goals.
